Eye & Vision Exams

Drs. Bare, Basic, & Rohm provide comprehensive eye and vision exams for patients aged five and up, in a warm, caring and relaxed environment.

To begin your examination, our experienced technicians will escort you into our pre-testing suite to begin the evaluation of your eyes and vision. They will begin with a computerized measurement of your prescription, measure your current glasses, measure your eye pressure, and use the Optomap to capture an internal image of your retina.

While in the exam room, we’ll begin with a general health review and assess your needs. We will measure your vision and perform refractive testing to determine the need for any corrective glasses and/or contact lenses. We will continue to examine your eyes and eyelids and the internal structures of your eyes. During this examination, we will obtain a complete picture of your eye health. We screen for cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration among many other eye conditions. In the event of an abnormal finding, we may need to do further testing to completely assess your situation and determine the best course of management. Return visits are scheduled based on your findings. If no immediate issues are found, we recommend regular check-up visits every year or two years.
